That quote rings very true with me. I've been fortunate to have been in the travel indus...

Kathy on a camel at the Pyramids of Egypt

My cousin and I went to Israel, Egypt and Jordan to visit Petra in May 2019.  One of my goals was to ride a camel.

We arrived at the Pyramids at Giza. For a few dollars, you could get your picture taken on the camels in front of the pyramids, just like the photo here. Do you know how tall those camels are?? It's definitely a process to get on. The camel lays down on it's belly. You climb up into the saddle. The guy makes the camel stand up, back legs first. This makes you fall forward and I almost rolled right off the camel!  I was doing a facebook live at the time and could only hold on with 1 hand. I never laughed so hard, probably just like all my friends and family back home as they were watching me.

My camel ride in Petra went much more smoothly. I was a bit more prepared. My facebook live was much better too. What a fun time I had!

Riding a camel, seeing the pyramids and the sphinx, taking a cruise down the Nile River and getting within inches of King Tuts tomb and mummies. That was a dream come true. I can help make that dream become a reality for you.
